Synopsis:
Like the heroes of the old west at the closing of the frontier, the superheroes of Zenith now find themselves in a world that has passed them by. One by one, they come down from the rooftops and take off their masks, some successfully making the transition to everyday life, others not so much. And then there are a few who, despite warnings from city authorities that the days of the costumed vigilante are over, refuse to quit. One of the last holdouts is Leadcatcher. Famed for his ability to catch bullets in his skin, Leadcatcher continues to use his bulletproof power for real crime-fighting. When the police finally arrest him, threatening to rip off his mask and put him on trial for murder, Zenith’s most famous group of retired superheroes, collectively known as the ZEDS (Zenith Egalitarian Defense Syndicate) step in to broker a deal that will preserve Leadcatcher’s mysterious identity for good.
