Synopsis:
Lions Gate Films have aquired movie rights to numerous graphic novels by Steve Niles. Variety reports that the movies will star Tom Jane (The Punisher) and include adaptations of Niles' The Lurkers, In the Blood and The Dark Country. The novels are mostly modern pulp fiction horror. Screenwriter Tab Murphy has already been hired to adapt The Dark Country. Jane will also produce the films with Niles.
