Synopsis:
A man is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe.

Warner Bros. is adapting Green Lantern into a feature film and it will focus on the Hal Jordan version. Variety announced that Ryan Reynolds has been cast as Jordan, filming is set to begin in 2010, and release planned for the summer of 2011.
