Synopsis:
Kim holds a BFA from the Univ. of the Arts, a valuable tool in booking temp work. A comedian/producer, her first feature film “The Bedstand” received critical acclaim and no distribution. Currently, she stars in/produces “Cube News 1”, a comic webshow that dispenses tips for surviving life as a cubicle worker. Created in 8/06, the videos have been viewed millions of times, been featured on CNN, and got a pat on the back from the Wall Street Journal. She recently launched the spin off series “The Adventures of Cubegirl”: at last, a superhero for everyone outside the bonus pool.

Cubegirl was created as an afterthought to the “Invisi-Wall” episode. We had shot the whole thing, broke the set down (meaning we took the clip lights and microphone off the bookcase) and then thought ‘how funny would it be to have a super hero alter ego?’ One quick trip to a costume store and Cubegirl was created. Well, from the waist up anyway. She returned in “Office Politics” with more advice and a fancy new top. Viewer support skyrocketed. YouTub-er “TheMightyLex” made an animation, and discussions about her super powers and super gadgets started. “The Cube De-Coder” brings Cubegirl back again — with pants– to help decode such corporate gibberish like “obligatory volunteerism”. Now, we are excited to launch a series of episodes exclusively dedicated to the Adventures of Cubegirl. And buy a pair of Cubegirl shoes.
