Synopsis: Comic Relief did a sketch starring Rowan Atkinson last night that makes fun of Spider-Man. 'Spider-Plant-Man' was a two-part comedy sketch that is a comedy version of the Spider-Man movies. Young, dorky Peter Piper gets bitten by a radioactive Spider Plant and has amazing powers! He then saves his love; Jane Mary from muggers and meets his arch-nemesis: Batman! Yes, an out-of-work Batman kidnaps Jane Mary and keeps her hostage on Tower Bridge. (It's set in London.) Spider-Plant-Man goes to save her, but gets beaten. When he's about to fall, Robin comes along and asks for a contract for mechandise. Spider-Plant-Man offers him a better contract offer and Robin pushes Batman off the bridge. And at the end…Spider-Plant-Man and Jane Mary kiss and go off on holiday together! (from spiderfan.org)
