Synopsis:
In the summer of 1947, an Irish-Catholic youth is put in peril after he witnesses the beating of a Jewish shopkeeper by an anti-Semitic gangleader. Soon, the boy teams with an elderly rabbi to create a golem--a mythical creature from Hebrew legend--to defeat their common enemy. What follows is a touching story of courage, compassion and friendship.
