Synopsis: Nick Jr.'s unique children's television series LAZY TOWN offers a fun and educational way to get kids off the couch and into a lifetime of physical fitness. Produced in Iceland and aimed at preschool children, the innovative series stresses the importance of nutrition and exercise through a fun mix of human actors and puppets against a colorful, computer-animated background. The series centers around a pink-haired 8-year-old named Stephanie (Julianna Rose Mauriello) as she helps athletic superhero Sportacus (series creator Magnus Scheving) battle lazy villain Robbie Rotten (Stefan Karl Stefansson) in lighthearted, nonviolent adventures. Along the way, Sportacus teaches kids healthy eating habits while zany musical numbers encourage active participation for an easy approach to exercise. (from movies.yahoo.com)
