Synopsis:
A half human, half yokai hero Kitaro and his buddies, performed by returning cast members, investigate a series of mysterious disappearance and finds out that it is somehow related with the forbidden love tragedy 1,000 years ago. Behind these incidents, there was conspiracy by the evil yokai and his followings. As Kitaro fights against these enemies, he goes through an internal conflict over his identity.
