Synopsis:
Many of the greatest Mexican superheroes were variations of the famous Zorro theme, with El Latigo Negro (The Black Whip) being perhaps the most famous of the bunch; this was the 1st film in the series, followed immediately by two sequels "Mystery of the Black Whip" and "The Black Whip Vs. The Ghost of the Hanged Man"; Federico Curiel not only directed this film, he also contributed to the screenplay, acted in it and wrote two of the songs for the film's soundtrack.
