Synopsis:
Picking up where the original movie left off, Emperor Shao Khan has broken the rules of the tournament by resurrecting Queen Sindel, enabling him to invade Earth. After the death of Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, Princess Kitana and Rayden are on the run from Shao Khan's extermination squads as Earth begins to merge with Outworld. The team of warriors have only a matter of days to defeat Shao Khan and seal the portals until the next tournament before the merger is complete. Kombat begins again.
