Synopsis:
The DETECTIVES INC. duo of Bob Rainier and Ted Denning are hired by social worker Deirdre Sevens to look into a case of domestic violence that takes them from the suburban communities of Flushing Meadows, Queens where deep hates and loves hide under calm facades to the Coney Island Brigthon Beach boardwalks where adulterous liasons take place! The threesome pursue the truth through the rarified realms of Dobb's Ferry rich and social charity balls. Relationships are formed, broken, stripped away, re-evalated, and some are ended by murder!

In 1985, McGregor wrote and directed a low-budget, shot-on-video movie version of Detectives Inc., which has been shown at comic book conventions but remains unreleased commercially.
