Synopsis:
"Superman Unplugged" is a short film where the Man of Steel meets Neo from The Matrix. Together the two titans team up to thwart the evil plans of super villains Lex Luthor and Agent Smith.

"Superman Unplugged" is done in the vein of Buzzscope's own auteur Sandy Collora's "Batman: Dead End" and "World's Finest" fan films. One could also lump "Grayson" and "Fast Times at Hero High" in this category as well. Like those fan classics, "Superman Unplugged" was not done to turn a profit, but rather to showcase the skills of its director, Philadelphia native son Eric Waters. It was Waters who had the initial idea to team up two of Warner Brother's most popular icons. Produced by Yvonne Caycedo, Geoffrey Collymore, and Brandon Far, "Superman Unplugged" was shot over a 9-day period on Super 16mm film with equipment provided by the school and donated by Panavision.
