Synopsis:
This extravegant film follows Kara, Supermans' cousin, as she comes to earth in search for the Omegaheddron, a power source vital to her home, Argo City. She accidentally sends it out to earth by mistake when using the magical item without permission. Once on earth, she is Supergirl, a young woman of sheer strength and grace! Furthermore, she must retreive the power source soon, or her home will die. The problem increases, however, when the power source falls into the hands of a ruthless witch, named Selena, who intends to use it for revenge and world domination, among other things. Now, the ultimate battle of beauty and strength, desire and power, as well as right and wrong, will ensue. Helen Slater and Faye Dunaway bring to the screen, a fun, rich, and magical adaptation of good vs. evil. Joined by them, are Peter Cook, Brenda Vaccaro, Hart Bochner, Maureen Teefy, and Marc McClure, as Jimmy Olsen.
